Considerations when sharpening all types of tools (including vee vs. parabolic fluted bowl gouges), how to pre-determine the shape of any type of gouge are demonstrated. Honing vs. straight-from-the-grinder (with magnified viewing), handled vs. unhandled tools, possible modifications and addressing any specific tools that someone might have are all discussed.
